Sales Account Executive (US) - Remote

As an integral part of our Sales team, you will be connecting and conversing with potential partner Digital Agencies and globally recognized Organizations to uncover a deep understanding of their digital strategy and technology needs. You will position Axelerant as a long term strategic partner that can help fuel their growth by engineering Digital Experiences for them and their clients.

This is an outside sales role responsible and accountable for driving new business, with a focus on prospecting, lead generation, and channel partner development. You will be collaborating with Axelerant’s VP of Sales, Directors, and relevant team members to formulate and execute pragmatic yet aggressive sales strategies for your region/ territory and contribute to both direct revenue value and net new partners/ customers.

There are currently two remote positions for residents of North America and the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the sales playbook into named, targeted accounts with the goal of generating interest and uncovering and qualifying new business opportunities.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at potential partners and customers, as well as the expansion of existing contacts within accounts.
  • Qualify opportunities, design solutions to help solve business problems, propose, negotiate, and close business. 
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecast through discovery calls and meetings.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of sales data and information via our CRM.
  • Keep abreast of corporate objectives, Industry practices, technology trends, and cutting edge solutions Axelerant is providing in the marketplace
  • Work hand-in-hand with the VP of Sales to accomplish goals, strategies and tasks as well as develop/recommend new strategies for success.
  • Travel throughout the region on a need basis for face time with prospects, attend relevant events and conferences.
  • Meet or exceed set Quota targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for sales-based activities.   

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in professional services or selling agency services
  • Familiarity with web technologies, digital experience platforms, and UI/UX solutions
  • A ‘Sales Playbook’ mindset to ensure consistent, predictable improvement through open sharing and teamwork
  • Focusing on accounts towards an outcome of increased customer satisfaction and an increase in retention and account growth
  • Proven capability to proactively manage complex and lengthy sales cycles
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Liaise and build relationships with digital agency leaders and decision-makers at mid to enterprise-level customers
  • Understand best practices for prioritization and time management
  • Open to attending events, conferences, and meetups
  • Bachelor Degree is required
  • Ability to learn and evolve

Special Considerations:

All of Axelerant's roles are considered work from anywhere. However, some jobs are regionally specific due to sales or other onsite considerations. For example, when living in Costa Rica and applying for a US sales role, we will not consider you for that job opening.
Except for regionally specific jobs, like UK/US-based account executives or Canadian-based software contributors, our salaries are paid per India-based compensation plans.
Also, we typically expect people to have a two-to-four-hour crossover with the 11 AM to 7 PM India (UTC+05:30) timezone each workday for meetings and coaching.
