Drupal Technical Architect

Axelerant has identified a burning problem: the lack of Open Source support with a focus on customer success. A U.S. based partner, fueling clients with agile development solutions since 2005, we are committed to solving this problem with our distributed workforce and a global approach to Open Source community contribution and thought leadership.

As an Axelerant Drupal Technical Architect, you will be working hard as you would be required to research, scope, estimate and present Drupal solutions for mid to enterprise-grade web sites and applications. You'll also act as a key conduit between our business development team and our technical engineers, both helping sales staff to better position Drupal and Axelerant’s services, as well as bringing feedback from customers back into the development of new products and processes.

Going further, you will engage in hands-on programming tasks with the team to ensure that the final deliverable helps the client meet its business objectives.

Lastly, you will provide expertise in developing and maintaining code repositories, create UI templates and APIs, participate in technical and peer review processes, and build interactive web solutions with industry standard tools and techniques.

If you’re looking for your exact responsibilities, bah humbug. We're a real world organization, and there're going to be times when the unexpected happens, and you’re going to need to step up. We don’t know what it’s going to be or when, but it’ll be a challenge; it could be boring, or it could be something amazing. Either way we get through together, as a team.

Past the role itself, as a person, when you don’t know the answer or are not sure what’s next, be willing to say such and go find out. If you’ve got something to share, do so, whether in our Slack channels or on our blog.

Ultimately, we’re about getting the right things done at the right time and those who are enthusiastic, open, and giving about whatever they’re masters of, will fit into Axelerant.

We’re an organization with team members spread across multiple cultures and time zones. As such, you must be self-motivated in finding the right things to do and communicating proactively in English with the rest of the team.
